During the spring, thunderstorms roll thru Ashland causing the electricity to falter and darkened the city. However, sitting out on the porch during a spring shower is very calming and soothing.
When it's hot, it's hot in the summertime. Records indicate, Ashland getting as hot as 101F during the summer of 1988.
In the winter, Ashland get lots of snow. Many children anxiously listen in the morning to the weather forecast to see if school is canceled.
